"BEING VINCENTIAN, BEING CATHOLIC, BEING GLOBAL"
DePaul  contributes  to  the academic goals of  Vincentian schools,  reassuring  our commitment  to provide real world education within a catholic identity and fostering  among our students a  greater sense of global responsibility.

Learning by teaching

This is a summer program  designed to provide educational opportunities and the necessary skills to compete in a global environment to both, the visiting students and our DePaul students

Acting as mentors of our young visitors, DePaul  students have found themselves being able to lead an international group, suggesting activities, recommending readings  and moreover,   applying some of the concepts learned in their own student lives . In their reflective papers, mentors have mentioned  that this experience have transformed them into individuals able to support and help out others to learn about their school, city and country.

Global Vincentian Identity

Vincentian Catholic Identity is at the foundation of  our school. It is embedded in its philosophy of education, curriculum and community life. Education culture, and life are brought together to form our Vincentian spirit. DePaul provides a learning environment rooted in the values of our Catholic faith but is constantly seeking to adapt its programs to the needs of a constant changing environment.   Through this special  international cooperation, DePaul  contributes  to  the academic goals of other Vincentian schools,  reassuring  our commitment  to provide real world education within a catholic identity and fostering  among our students a  greater sense of global responsibility.

International mentoring program

The Vincentian Summer Program is defined as an intensive program that combines Catholic identity instruction (Vincentian mission and values), English language courses through the English Language Academy (ELA), cultural themes, new media communications, and field trips. Students have the opportunity to sharpen their English language skills, participate in activities of community service, learn how to use technology to communicate their experiences   and develop a social media platform that extends the program experience, keeps them  in contact with their  peers, sharing experiences with participants of different years and  their  DePaul mentors.
